A point fixing system is an individual fixing solution that secures each cladding panel independently to the building structure. Unlike continuous substructures, it does not use longitudinal profiles, which reduces visual impact and allows greater architectural freedom.

It is particularly used in projects involving natural stone or large-format panels.

Point anchors are recommended when:

  • A more discreet or practically invisible fixing is required.
  • The architectural design requires independence between pieces.
  • Natural stone slabs of considerable thickness are being installed.
  • The project needs to optimise structural weight by eliminating continuous profiles.

The choice will depend on the technical calculation and the mechanical behaviour of the cladding.

Point anchoring systems are primarily designed for:

  • Natural stone
  • Marble and granite
  • Architectural concrete panels
  • Some thick ceramic solutions

Each material requires a load study and a specific fixing point design to ensure structural safety.

It depends on the system chosen. There are solutions with visible fastenings and others with concealed fastenings machined into the edge or back of the piece.

In high-end architectural projects, concealed systems allow for a clean aesthetic without compromising stability or strength.

Point anchors are normally made of high-strength stainless steel to withstand wind loads, the weight of the cladding itself, and thermal expansion.

The system must always be dimensioned using specific structural calculations, especially in tall buildings or areas with high wind loads.
