Epsilon “TS” is a cutting-edge, high-performance vertical profile system that is easy to install.

The Epsilon “TS” system has been scrupulously designed to resist all types of mechanical stresses and corrosion problems that can arise in construction work.

As it is a profiling system, it can be installed on solid, perforated or hollow supporting walls.

The system can be loaded immediately, and can be assembled regardless of the weather conditions.

COMPOSITION

Vertical aluminium “TS” profile

These profiles are made of extruded AW-6060/6063 T5 aluminium alloy with a black marine coat, resistant to aggressive agents. This type of coat has the certification QUALICOAT class SEASIDE. Thanks to their special design, they provide excellent mechanical resistance and resistance against corrosion.

They are fixed to the floor slabs with angular load bearing anchors. The connection between the vertical profile and the load bearing/support anchors is made with stainless steel self-drilling screws 5.5×25.

Vertical aluminium “L” Profiles

These profiles are also made of extruded AW-6060/6063 T5 aluminium alloy with a black marine coat, resistant to aggressive agents. This type of coat has the certification QUALICOAT class SEASIDE. Thanks to their special design, they provide excellent mechanical resistance and resistance against corrosion.

Vertical Profiles Epsilon “LS” are installed on lateral ends (lateral corners) or installed as intermediate reinforcement profiles. They are fixed to the wall and to the fastenings in the same way that the “TS” profile.

They are made of extruded aluminium AW-6060/6063 T5 alloy anodized 15 micron in natural matt silver.
These anchors attach the vertical profiles to the floor slabs of the building, distributing the load produced by the cladding. The angular load bearing anchors are attached to the floor slabs using A2 stainless steel M8 x 75 expansive anchors.

If the anchor cannot be attached to the floor slabs of the building, it is attached to the supporting wall. If it is made of semi-hollow brick or similar, the fixing kit used consists of a 8×90 bolt and a nylon plug SX 10×80. One angular load bearing anchor is used on each vertical profile. The load bearing anchors are attached to the profiles using two 5.5 x 25 mm self-drilling AISI-304 stainless steel screws. The connection between the angular load bearing anchors and the profiles can be adjusted horizontally thanks to the oval holes (18 mm). This means the system can be adapted to any possible irregularities in the structural elements of the building. The connection can be adjusted by a depth of 21.5 mm.

The following anchors are fabricated for the possible gap distances: (60+40)x80x3 mm; (80+40)x80x4 mm; (100+40)x80x4,5 mm; (120+40)x80x4,5 mm; (140+40)x80x5 mm; (160+40)x80x5; (180+45)x80x6/5 y (200+65)x80x8/6.

Epsilon TS - Angular load bearing anchors

They are made of extruded aluminium AW-6060/6063 T5 alloy anodized 15 micron in natural matt silver.
The anchors are installed at a certain distance from the angular load bearing floor slab anchors, and attached to the profiles using stainless steel self-drilling screws 5.5 x 25 mm.

The angular support anchors are attached to the brickwork using stainless steel 8×90 bolts and nylon plugs SX 10×80.
Such as with the load bearing anchors, the position of the profiles can be adjusted horizontally in the support anchors thanks to the oval holes (18 mm). They can also be adjusted by a depth of 21.5 mm in the same way. In the vertical axe, the profile thermal expansions are allowed thanks to the vertical oval holes (15.5 mm).

The following anchors are fabricated for the possible gap distances: (60+40)x46x3 mm; (80+40)x46x4 mm; (100+40)x46x4,5 mm; (120+40)x46x4,5 mm; (140+40)x46x5 mm; (160+40)x46x5; (180+45)x46x6/5 y (200+65)x46x8/6.

The cladding fastening is done with the Alfa staples made of stainless steel AISI-304. These staples can be used with hidden or visible clips.

The Alfa staples hidden clips hold the cladding with their clips being necessary to groove the panel in the areas where the clip will be introduced. The staples are fixed to the vertical profile “TS” with two stainless steel self-drilling screws 4,2×14. The Alfa staples are fabricated in two different sizes, simple and double. The double staple is placed behind the cladding joints holding two panels at the same time. The simple staple is placed in the lateral ends.

The Alfa staples visible clips hold the cladding without the need of grooving the panel. The panel is hold between the visible clips and the vertical profile surface. Between the panel and the aluminium profile, a spongy self-adhesive profile is installed to level and provide rear support for the cladding. The Alfa staples are fabricated in two different sizes, simple and double, and are fixed to the vertical profile “TS” with two stainless steel self-drilling screws 4,2×14. In the case of large format panels, it is recommended to use an adhesive putty, applying de 10 cm strips, separated 10 cm each other along the vertical profile. Additionally, it is necessary to apply a 15 mm wide spongy self-adhesive profile with the thickness according to the requirements.

BIM

You can download a .zip file with the BIM families for Revit of all of elements that are part of the system Epsilon TS: deadload and windload brackets, vertical profiles and Alfa staples. Families have been created specifying the screws required in each type included in the family with the aim of having the exact number of elements necessary in the project. Moreover, a repository with an example of the façade components is included.

These families have been created with Revit 2018, so they must be opened with the same version or later.
