The CLASIC system is based on single clips with vertical and depth adjustment.

It is an anchoring system for stone cladding on ventilated facades. The CLASIC system is based on single clips with vertical and depth adjustment.

This system is relatively economical and frequently used on the covering of concrete walls, both prefabricated elements or on-site. It is not recommended for masonry walls (solid or semi-solid) and hollow block with a web thickness lower than 40 mm.

Composition

The system CLASIC is made up of a 3 mm Stainless Steel A-2 (AISI-304) body without welding; one side is fixed to a determined support or to the building and the other side to a stainless steel A-2 (AISI-304) threaded rod with a locking nut, made of the same material. This allows, once adjusted, fixing the stone slab at the distance desired.

The system CLASIC FRENO incorporates a security lock washer that allows a tightening torque avoiding the clip sliding.

The system CLASIC REFORZADO differs from CLASIC FRENO in that the body is made of 4 mm Stainless Steel A-2 (AISI-304). It also incorporates the security lock washer that avoids the clip sliding.

The fixation to the wall can be of several types: with stainless steel expansive anchor, resin and threaded rod or with bolt and nylon plug, according to the type of building wall. The right choice of the fixation and an appropriate installation are important for a proper behavior of the anchorage.

Once the adjustment has been done, the anchorage remains unalterable over time avoiding sliding of the stone panels on their vertical and horizontal axes. Every panel can be installed on the right position to keep the alignment and total flatness of the cladding.

System CLASIC - Pivote

The system CLASIC Pivote, in its versions NORMAL, FRENO y REFORZADO, the stone is fixed thanks to a mechanism installed on the flat part of the threaded rod, known as pivot. The system offers the possibility of regulating the position on the support wall (vertical adjustment), thanks to the oblong hole it has. Moreover, thanks the possibility of rotating the threaded rod, the stone fixing on the pivot can be adjusted in depth.

Between the pivots and the stone panels, it is necessary to install a nylon sleeve, that covers the pivot and smooth the contact between the steel and the stone, avoiding the erosion and allowing an adjustment tolerance when the stone drilling is not perfect. Thanks to these nylon sleeves, the stone is not in danger of being cracked by the wedge effect when water freezes inside the holes drilled. It is important to notice that due to the small anchorage area, the stone thickness should be at least 3 cm.

System CLASIC - Hidden Clip

The system CLASIC Hidden Clip, in its versions NORMAL, FRENO y REFORZADO, uses a clip introduced into the edge or into the backside of the stone. These pieces cover a larger clamping area than the pivot below the stone edge, and the stresses are distributed on a larger area. The system offers the possibility of regulating the position on the support wall (vertical adjustment), thanks to the oblong hole it has. Moreover, thanks the possibility of rotating the threaded rod, the stone fixing can be horizontally adjusted in depth.

System CLASIC - Visible Clip

The system CLASIC Visible Clip, in its versions NORMAL, FRENO y REFORZADO, uses visible clips and a removable retaining spring holding the stone panel without the need of being grooved or drilled. This fact makes the visible clip the best choice for claddings with a tendency to exfoliation, such as slate.

These pieces cover a larger clamping area than the pivot and the hidden clips below the stone edge, and the stresses are distributed on a larger area. The system offers the possibility of regulating the position on the support wall (vertical adjustment), thanks to the oblong hole it has. Moreover, thanks the possibility of rotating the threaded rod, the stone fixing can be horizontally adjusted in depth.
